"'Stop, why don't you stop?' she pleaded. 'Tristan, stop!'
Then the windshield exploded.
For days after, all Ivy could remember was the waterfall of glass."

Summary (From B.O.B): A love beyond life...a danger beyond doubt.

When her boyfriend, Tristan, died, Ivy thought she'd lost everything, even her faith in angels. But now she's discovered her guardian angel-his presence so strong that she can feel the touch of his hand, the beat of his heart. Ivy needs Tristan now more than ever because he knows she's in terrible danger. Only Ivy's guardian angel can save her, now that his killer is after her.

But if Tristan rescues Ivy, his mission on earth will be finished, and he must leave her behind forever. Will saving Ivy mean losing her just when he's finally reached her again?

Wdebo's Review: I really liked Kissed By An Angel, it hits the paranormal love for me, but I was very thankful there was no vampires, haha, WAY too many vampire books right now. The story of having the one you love, and right when you think you've actually accepted his gone-ness he suddenly comes back as a ghost and you can be with him again (even if not for a long time), I think it's just so romantic, so Ghost. That reminds me, the ending reminded me so much of Ghost.

I thought the writing was very good, very good imagry, and a nice mix of characters. Ivy is the all around loveable girl but with a twist, the whole in love with angels, and Suzanne, one of Ivy's best friend, is a total slut (I really don't know how to say it), I really didn't like Suzanne, but I loved Beth, she was the shy, quiet romance-novel writing one, yeah!!

Anyways, if that actually happened to me (the whole loved one coming back as a ghost thing) I would be so happy, but if I find out that he has to go away in a bit, wouldn't that just make me more sad, the idea of losing the one you love twice?

Cafe Cover Chat: Hm, the cover looks ok, the flower looks kinda cool, but I don't really like it. (B-)

All in all, a great trilogy for paranormal romance lovers, and for anyone else in between.

Grade: B+

  8. The idea of losing the boy you love TWICE is just so very sad. I look forward to reading this book, but it definitely sounds like a novel that requires a box of tissues. :)

  9. It is such a good book! I love it it really kept me on the edge of my chair. It is totally unlike ... ...... ...... which I don't like . it is like so boring( I read ahead a bit naughtily and one of the lovers is actually in love with another girl aswell) I am a pre-teen so I am very-very interested in teen-love-stories.
